Ex- NFL star Antonio Brown is heading to Miami to confront an attempted murder allegation related to a shooting that occurred in May, as his counsel entering a innocent declaration on his behalf.

Detention documents in Essex, New Jersey, indicate that Brown was released on Tuesday morning for his move to Florida. Brown, among the most famous figures in the NFL, had relinquished transfer to Florida from New Jersey, in which he was detained after being apprehended in the city of Dubai.

From his digital posts, Brown had been living in Dubai for multiple period. In a post after the incident, Brown said he was protecting himself because he was “jumped by multiple people who tried to take my possessions and cause bodily damage to me.”

A category two murder attempt allegation in Florida carries a highest 15-year incarceration penalty and up to a $10,000 fine in the instance of a finding.

Brown has encountered multiple legal challenges over the time. He earlier had been accused of assault of a vehicle operator, multiple family violence charges, failure to pay child support and additional events.
